This is where the argument goes wrong. The person may well have such a 
license. For example, there are plenty of freely licensed fonts.

I'm sure the font people think they're special, but extracting fonts isn't 
really different to extracting text or graphics - it may or may not be what the 
original creator wanted.

It may be worth a note in the documentation of what the tool does and the 
potential copyright issues.
