[poppler] Likelihood of licensing Poppler to LGPL or other permissive open source licenses in the future

Hey there,
I noticed that Poppler is licensed under the terms of GPLv2 and GPLv3,
so I thought it might be an option to release Poppler under less
protective licenses like LGPL or MPL  just like Cairo or other (major)
libraries. Are there any reasons or considerations to this licensing
choice?
