I found out that the bug was only present for PDF that where page size width is greater than height. (seem related to <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/437550">https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/437550</a> ) This unifies behavior with pdftops. Please consider merging! All unit tests still pass.
