yes, it's better. Maybe the link could be fixed in the freedesktop's
wiki too.

But my original (and hidden, I know) question was about: "what I can
do to help you merge those changes into next release?"

And more are XDG people interested in more enhancements like GUI for
"su" what I have on my local disk?
