[Portland] xdg-utils: How to contribute?

Hello world!

I am new here, sorry if my question was already answered elsewhere but I 
did not find what I am looking for.

I wish to apply few modifications to xdg-utils and would like send a 
patch for a review. I created an account on https://bugs.freedesktop.org 
for managing the revelant bug and cloned 
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xdg/xdg-utils/.
But now, where to send a patch or on which server could I push commits?
