 gcc-snapshot/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.3.0/include-fixed/sys/stat.h

 gcc-snapshot is ubuntu gcc (GCC) 4.3.0 20070414 (experimental), which
 might be broken (I would not take the risk to say so).

 it seems they ship there own headers "include-fixed" on top of libc (and
 others! linux, X11, firefox!)
