 Using Amarok and the Pulse output plugin of its xine-output-engine,
 hitting pause causes a 15-second or longer freeze of the app, followed by
 the familiar Paused OSD message that Amarok pops up.  VERy annoying.

 Happens both with the local RTP sink and a remote PA server.

 Hang is not (at least seems not to be) time-correlated to bug
