Hmm, I will not be fixing this. The symbolic name of a sink/source is not
intended to be used by normal users, so it doesn't really matter if these
names are difficult to type or not.
And the big argument against this is that this defeats the whole point in
using HAL udis for naming sinks: that they stay the same regardless of the
order the ALSA sound devices are initialized during bootup. module-volume-
restore for example stores and restores the device for each stream that
has been used last by it. To make sure that this actually binds a stream
to exactly the same HW each time requires the usage of the somewhat stable
HAL udis over the dynamically assigned ALSA device indexes.
