 As the subject says :)..

 I'll attach a small patch which puts the device name in the description if
 possible.. Which makes it a lot easier to distinguish between various usb
 inputs. see http://beast.luon.net/~sjoerd/pavucontrol-inputs.png for an
 example. Without the patch the device names would just say (USB Audio)
 between the brackets. With the patch i can actually see which one is my
 headset
