 Our application uses the esound API and needs to control the volume of
 stored samples,
 This functionality was not implemented yet in pulseaudio 0.9.10 in Ubuntu
 8.04 LTS.

 For that reason, we adapted protocol-esound.c ourselves.
 We present the resulting patch to the pulseaudio developers for inclusion
 in later
 releases.

 Please find the patch in attachment, and please consider it for inclusion
 in the next pulseaudio release.
