 AdamK: Uh, using "--" is well defined behaviour on Unix (or at least on
 GNU). It's the way I expect it to work.

 I'll add a comment to the man page about this. But I see no reason to
 depart from the normal GNU behaviour.

 Also note that the current man page explicitly shows the "--" in the
 synopsis.
