Comment:

 The SVN version of pavucontrol doesn't have the white bar anymore.

 And please be aware that I have lots of ideas for the pavucontrol UI and I
 quite frankly know that it sucks big time right now. However, I am
 certainly not going to fix this, since I don't like hacking UIs. May land
 is infrastructure, not UI. Hence I will do only the basic minimum to make
 things work as needed, but polishing UIs: no. That has to come from
 someone else.
