 felipec: Yeah I see those problems too. Funny thing is, doing
 {{{PULSE_SINK=blah mplayer file}}} seems to work pretty well, but moving a
 stream in pavucontrol goes all crazy like above. I'll work out what I need
 to do to fix it up in due course :)

 Just to update everyone, you can now get the code from here (nothing
 significant has been done there since migrating from SVN... yet!!):
