 Sjoerd,
 I've had to pull Pulseaudio from my laptop, because this problem was
 driving my crazy.
 I found a few Ubuntu threads on launchpad (eg
 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/226342) which
 seem similar to my problem, and I don't think it's going to be solved
 except by later versions.
 The Debian packages seem pretty old (0.9.10). I hope you can put a later
 one to Debian experimental soon.
