#390: pulse clients might abort if the pulseaudio server goes down

 I was testing the behavior of an application if the pulseaudio server is
 shut down and at one point the application aborted with:

 E: mutex-posix.c: Assertion 'pthread_mutex_lock(&m->mutex) == 0' failed at
 pulsecore/mutex-posix.c:92, function pa_mutex_lock(). Aborting.

 I expect that a pulse shutdown or crash does not take down other
 applications because that can result in data loss.
