 Just to add my comments now:

  1. For reference, Mandriva cooker is only ''testing'' the 0.9.12 version
 but that doesn't detract from the tests/results in any way!
  2. Thanks for the vote of confidence but I seriously doubt I know enough
 about the core or resampling or even sound in general to be able to
 address this bug!! I can poke and fiddle about but anything complex and I
 bow out to Lennart or other less amateur players! :)
