 Annoyingly after rechecking the box to get a proper backtrace it's
 stubbornly refused to do it again :s

 Lennart, what would cause this? Is it bogus to try and set the volume on a
 monitor source anyway (guessing it should work but seems a little
 pointless as surely it should just follow the sink?)
