#736: set-default-sink has no effect?

Version: 0.9.21 (Ubuntu 9.10)
Hi,
With previous versions of Ubuntu (so previous versions of Pulseaudio) I
was able to create a settingsfile (see attached), which I could run in
order to start pulseaudio.
In that file I have a line:
set-default-sink alsa_output.pci-0000_04_06.0.analog-stereo
This should set my second soundcard as default. However; in Ubuntu 9.10
this doesn't seem to work anymore. Any idea why?
PS: When running this line in pacmd, it _does_ set my second soundcard as
default.
