 Our broken fedora syslog is so broken it apparently doesn't do that.
 Because it is easier for me to update pa than this crazy rsyslog thing we
 have I am planning to add this to PA, although it should be fixed in
 rsyslog.

 Just out of curiosity: which syslog implementation does mandrake use?
