 Switching from the alsa module to the native module in pulseaudio 0.9.16
 and bluez 4.45 the audio seems to play for half a second, pause for half a
 second, and repeat. It seems to buffer instead of dropping sound, and when
 I click stop on the player the audio continues until it's caught up.

 syslog is full of the following type of line

 pulseaudio[3210]: module-bluetooth-device.c: Skipping 28590 us (= 5040
 bytes) in audio stream
