 Re the X11 thing make sure you're xprop's are set correctly. e.g. {{{xprop
 -root | grep PULSE}}}. If this isn't set (either before or after ssh'ing)
 then that is your problem. Before ssh'ing you should run: {{{start-
 pulseaudio-x11}} which will load the necessary X11 support. This script
 should be run by your DE when you login (as it's in an XDG .desktop
 autostart file).
