 My desktop have been freezing frequently and analysis of
 /var/log/messages, it's seen that pulseaudio is generating messages like
 the following:

 Mar 31 12:21:43 es004 pulseaudio[2776]: module-alsa-sink.c: ALSA woke us
 up to write new data to the device, but there was actually nothing to
 write! Most likely this is an ALSA driver bug. Please report this issue to
 the PulseAudio developers.

 After sometime the desktop got frozen and the NetworkManager stopped
 working. Please ask if you need more information.
