 Hi Lennart,

 Thanks for the quick response. My available profiles do not have a stereo
 profile. So I am not sure if this is because ALSA is providing the wrong
 profile information or gnome-volume-control is retrieving it wrong? If
 this is another project's bug, then let me know and I will gladly submit a
 report there!

 I have attached a screenshot of the profile choices I have in gnome-
 volume-control.
