 I concur.  The latency issue is difficult to understand for developers
 that are new to sound (such as myself).  It should be explained a bit
 better in layman's terms or have some "if you want to do this... do
 this..." type of examples.

 More basic example code (for both the simple and async api) all the way
 around would be awesome.
