 As I said before, the behaviour is the same when using the default Gentoo
 setup, which doesn't include the RTP modules. Also, the CPU usage is low,
 7% for all system running with kdm + compositing + many effects enabled.
 After I kill pulseaudio, the CPU usage remains the same, but the CPU clock
 freqency drops to 800 MHz. (I don't know if pulseaudio is automatically
 restarted after I kill it, I'll check this when I get home.)
 What I forgot to mention that I'm using the conservative CPUFreq governor.
 My CPU steps through 4 CPU Frequencies: 800 MHz, 1.2 GHz, 1.6 GHz and 2
 GHz on the fly based on OS needs.
