Comment:

 6.1 is not a standard channel mapping, and ALSA doesn't support it hence
 which we are based on.

 That said you can define your own mappings by editing
 /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/profile-sets/default.conf and defining
 them in the alsa configuration files.

 I have no plans to support every weird mapping out of the box someone
 might come up with.
