 Oh and I should point out that PA Dev chooser is rubbish and we do not
 support it. It works independently of a connection to the PA server and
 generally just messes about with the configuration by tweaking properties
 on the X11 root window. Even it's avahi code is independent of the PA
 server. As we have been saying for almost 2 years, don't use padevchooser!
 :)
