I have reported to the mint developers. What should I do to document it here.

And I have indeed tried the out of phase trial for speakers but to no
avail.Still no response.

And for the mic, I just tried if some signal is received in the pavumeter...The
Pulseaudio app........Have'nt tried anything else.
