 pulseaudio 0.9.21

 When I change single channel volumes using pavucontrol the sound gets
 distorted on all channels. This happens when I play stereo sound (with
 rhythmbox) but also with 5.1 sound (mplayer).
 Furthermore the channel volumes are not independant. when I change rear
 channels, front speakers change their volume too.

 I also tried different configurations like
  load-module module-alsa-sink control=PCM
  flat-volumes = yes
 but it doesn't solve the problem

 When all channels have the same volume, the sound is clear.
 And with the stereo profile of the sound card the problem does not occur

 I use an Aureon USB 5.1 MkII sound card and Linux Mint Debian
