 Hmm, what would be the exact use case for this? We have module-cork-on-
 phone to do this automatically for specific cases it might be applicable,
 for instance.

 In general, we try to model pavucontrol to be like the internals of
 pulseaudio, and those are such that every stream has a mute/unmute state
 and not something like solo. That is more of a feature of a professional
 mixing desk anyway.
