Comment:

 I have the airport express 802.11n-version (firmware version 7.4.2) but
 for some reason I only get choppy sound on certain songs.

 Does anyone know if upgrading the firmware on this airport express to 7.6
 fixes the skipping issue?

 I will try the static IP if this fixes it.
