 Same problem here.  Ubuntu Oneiric, playing with Amarok, PulseAudio 1.0,
 skips like a motherfucker, every half a second, consistently.  I have no
 pulseaudio programs open at the time, no VU meters, no nothing... it's
 just a disaster.

 When is this going to be fixed?
