Could you get a stack trace, or at least more verbose logs?

You can run PA manually with the following line (might need to do this a few
times to defeat autospawn)

pulseaudio -k; pulseaudio -vvvv

(alternatively, echo "autospawn = no" >> ~/.pulse/client.conf to disable
autospwaning)
