I am not sure. Without your patch, I get not a freeze, but "Segmentation fault"
when I send the TERM signal to PulseAudio. Is this "Segmentation fault"
considered a bug, should I report it?

Yeah, I get the message "Pool full" even without your patch when playing. Is it
considered a bug, should I report it?
