I tested this on the release version of pulseaudio on Ubuntu 12.04 (wiz 1.0),
and I noticed the latency dropped by almost 1 to 1.5 seconds. However, I guess,
there is still some element of un-acceptability in the existing latency.

for some some reason, I am unable to test on master, and the latency is still
the same. Will update, as soon as I have some success testing on master.

Please note that I am re-producing it as described in comment 47.
