Hi Raymond,

the low-level Raspbery Pi I2S driver is able to record/playback at the same
time. As the I2S interface shares the clocks for input and output, sample rates
and bits per sample must be the same for playback and recording. This is my
understanding about this flag.

However in this case, the sound card is playback only, it does not even provide
an input to ALSA. Therefore there is only a playback stream.

I'm not sure how this is related to the CPU issue. Can you explain?
