timer scheduling mode require driver provide accurate hwptr position
if your driver did not provide dB scale, this force pulseaudio to use software
volume
any volume change by user force pulseaudio to perform rewind
the safeguard is 256bytes (i.e. 64 frames)
your result indicate the hwptr may remain unchanged for more than 400 frames
