Hi,

since upgrading to pulseaudio 5.0, I use my integrated intel HDA anymore.

I own a Gigabyte Z77-UD5H rev 1.0 with F14 BIOS and I know this board has some
problems but it works just fine with 4.0.

I have visited the launchpad bug about this motherboard
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/996245
and also the similar looking bug 70419 but I don't want to mix up history if
possible.

I order to debug this thing I upgraded to git and connect to #pulseaudio to get
help but to no avail until now.

In PA-5.0, gnome audio panel would only show me IEC958 output. With git master,
I could at least get back "Line out - Built In" with the various profiles that
I am used to.

I installed alsa-tools which includes hdajackretask and after adding missing
options in kernel and rebooting, apply overrides does not seem to work, or
maybe I am misusing it.
