Bug ID: 91713
Summary: Seems that documentation for read/write callbacks is
lacking.
Product: PulseAudio
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: medium
Component: clients
Assignee: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: webczat_200 at poczta.onet.pl

It seems that the pulseaudio documentation of write callbacks at least is
lacking.
I mean it does not say when they are called and when they are not called. for
example in case of prebuf being set, they are called once, but if I do not pass
any data then I will not get any more callbacks. Things like that.
Also, for example, are read callbacks repeatedly called if I do not drop a
recorded fragment?
