Well, Gnome and Ubuntu/Unity both have another GUI application
(gnome-control-center) which reorganises things in a (IMO) more straight
forward way.

Pavucontrol more reflects PulseAudio's internal organisation of objects.

Maybe gnome-control-center is installable in Mageia?
