            Bug ID: 88266
Summary: Single channel audio is really loud
           Product: PulseAudio
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: core
          Assignee: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: yshuiv7 at gmail.com
        QA Contact: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
                CC: lennart at poettering.net

When playing single channel audios, the resulting sound is way louder than
playing dual channel audio with same volume settings.

If I convert the audio to dual channel before sending to pulseaudio, the result
is normal.

If I create a channel map to map the channel to front left or front right,
although this result in sound only play on one side (as expected), but the
volume is correct.
