            Bug ID: 90977
Summary: [master] Pulseaudio crashes randomly due to failed
                    xmalloc.c assertion
           Product: PulseAudio
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: alsa
          Assignee: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: hector at convivencial.org
        QA Contact: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
                CC: lennart at poettering.net

Hello, I was testing some stuff in master (head at aafb56d9) and noticed
pulseaudio would crash randomly. The only thing the logs showed was:

pulseaudio[31813]: [alsa-sink-USB Audio] xmalloc.c: Assertion 'size > 0' failed
at pulse/xmalloc.c:62, function pa_xmalloc(). Aborting.

After that, I checked out tag "v6.0" and I haven't seen any more crashes in a
day, so it's possibly a bug in master.

I am not familiar with pulseaudio, but I can provide configs etc if necessary.
I just thought I would be best to log this one in case more people encounter
it.
