No, pulseaudio is still crashing:
Window 1:
$ pulseaudio -vvvv > pulseaudio.log 2>&1
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Window 2:
$ pactl set-card-profile alsa_card.pci-0000_00_1b.0
output:analog-surround-40+input:analog-stereo
Connection failure: Connection terminated
Debug log attached.
