thank you very much for your answer. You are right, i should have been more
precise. The symptoms are exactly like you described in 97064, parecord does
not move beyond 0 seconds.

i thought it would not be missing firmware, because everything else (wifi,
bluetooth pairing and even A2DP) seem to work. On the other hand i see
"firmware load failed" warnings from kernel:
