My Intel Skylake ASRock multimedia PC (OS openSuSE Tumbleweed, Pulseaudio
version 9.0-2.1) does not show the actual used HDMI connection with surround
options in Pavucontrol, Stereo sound works fine.

The mainboard has 2 HDMI and 1 DP connectors. It's no matter which of these
connectors is connected to my AVR.
