            Bug ID: 99567
           Summary: Crackling and popping bluetooth headset in HSP mode
           Product: PulseAudio
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: core
          Assignee: pulseaudio-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: sb56637 at gmail.com

Hi there, recently HSP mode has started working on my generic chinese bluetooth
headset. (I'm currently on PulseAudio 10.0 with openSUSE Tumbleweed.) But there
is a very frequent and annoying crackling and popping sound, like an old 1930's
radio recording. It appears to be improved but not completely eliminated by
using "load-module module-suspend-on-idle timeout=1".
