I have only ever seen it working once though (the one time mentioned above) so
would probably have to try _a lot_ more to see it again.

Looking at the latest log though...:

"foobar - alsa_card.pci-0000_01_00.1: Storing preferred_output_port = (null) in
the database."

Old config is overwritten at start for some reason?
