I run pulseaudio 9.0 and bluez 5.36 on a Debian stretch system.

pavucontrol *does* detect the headset in the Output devices tab but not in the
Input devices tab. I guess "Handsfree" is the HFP profile. I've seen elsewhere
that this profile is not supported by pulseaudio. People say that ofono should
be used, but isn't ofono just for letting the computer itself be an HFP device?

Is it that headsets with an HFP (Handsfree) profile but no HSP (Headset)
profile are currently not supported by pulseaudio?

Is there anything to be done?
