        <pre>I don't think the dock has a speaker itself. From the link you gave I got the
impression that it has two 3.5mm analog outputs, one of which would be for
speakers. Now the Dell web page is empty (at least for my browser), so I can't
check what the page said exactly.

This Amazon page says it has just one output like you describe, so maybe I
misunderstood the Dell page:
