[pulseaudio-discuss] pulsaudio 0.9.5 aborts on arm big endian gentoo

For a long time I cannot figure out why pulseaudio crashes instantly on my
SLUG. I was not able to run it in gdb, now I have managed to get an
strace. Below is the tail. It seems to me that pulseaudio queries the
cpu type just before it crashes. Does it ring a bell for anybody?
